Gary Sharp Kugler Vision Story

Why I Stepped Up My Game With ICL Vision Correction

I have worn contacts since I was in the 8th grade. They became a part of my life– an annoying one! The biggest frustration about life with contact lenses was the daily routine of putting them in and taking them out. All that maintenance… just felt like so much time and effort wasted!

Through the years, I have had lots of family members and friends go through laser vision correction and have heard them all rave about their success. I was a little shy about doing a procedure myself, but after visiting Dr. Lance Kugler, all my fears were erased.

After talking with Dr. Kugler, I left feeling reassured and like I really understood my options. I learned that LASIK is the most popular laser vision correction procedure, but it’s not always the best option for everyone. After my consultation at Kugler Vision, Dr. Kugler recommended ICL as the best procedure for me. It’s basically a lens implant, kind of like a contact lens (that I don’t need to take out!) that will give me clear vision far away and up close.

Reading stat sheets and computer screens all day, along with keeping up with the games, are all important parts of my job. I need to be able to see near and far to do it well. Because Kugler Vision is the only laser vision correction provider in Omaha to offer all seven procedures– I could be confident that ICL really was the best procedure to help me see the plays even better than the refs.

I am looking forward to waking up in the morning and not having to scramble to find my glasses or worrying about how many hours I wear contacts. If you have been told you weren’t a good candidate for LASIK, it’s a great time for a second opinion! Check out Kugler Vision if you’re looking for a life without relying on glasses or contacts to see.
